Fight For Chicago

We empower Chicago youths facing adversity by connecting them to the spirit of competition and discipline promoted by the sport of boxing.

“It’s dedication. It’s commitment. Boxing has taught me to never give up on what you want to do in life.”

— Michelle, 18, boxer in training

Remembering Doug Jusich

July 2019: The Fight For Chicago family mourns the passing of our friend and supporter Doug Jusich. Doug was a dedicated member of the Sam Colonna Boxing, MMA and Fitness Gym, where he trained as a semi-professional boxer. Doug truly believed in our mission of helping children on Chicago’s South Side. Our CHAMPs fight for you, Doug.

Fight For Chicago

We help keep underprivileged youths with good intentions off the streets, by funding their boxing training and gym time, and otherwise mentoring them.

“It’s dedication. It’s commitment. Boxing has taught me to never give up on what you want to do in life.”
